Education and Early Career

After earning my Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Education from York University, I began my career as a teacher in the Peel District School Board. Alongside teaching, I have tutored part-time for the past 7 years. Through both roles, I realized something important: in a classroom with many students, it's challenging to meet each student's individual needs. Every student learns at a different pace, and it's tough to give everyone the attention they deserve. 

Tutoring Philosophy 

That's where tutoring shines. With tutoring, I can tailor my approach to each student's unique learning style and pace. I saw firsthand how personalized learning could help students excel and make significant progress in their studies. This inspired me to dive deeper into tutoring, with the goal of helping students succeed in the classroom by building on their learning outside of it.
